Speaker 1. My favorite city in central Europe on the banks of the Vltava River. It’s one of the three Imperial Cities together with Vienna and Budapest, and it’s well known for its architecture and historical importance. The Hradcany Castle in the district of the same name overlooks the city centre, and the main square is called Wenceslaus Square. Culturally, it’s famous as the birthplace of Kafka, Dvorak, and Smetana

Speaker 2. The most beautiful city I’ve ever visited is on the Pacific coast of Canada. It’s surrounded by water on three sides, and has the Coast Mountain Range on the other. There’s a large island opposite the city where Canadians often go on holiday. It also has the largest urban park in North America, called Stanley Park, which has a zoo, a marine science center, and famous gardens containing native trees. It’s known as one of the cities in the world with the highest quality of life.

Speaker 3. My favorite city is the capital of a South American country. It’s on the banks of the Rio de la Plata and is famous for being the birthplace of the tango. It’s one of the world’s busiest ports and the residents often refer to themselves as Portenos. The main square is called the Plaza de Mayo, and one of this city’s streets, the Avenida 9 de Jolio is said to be the widest boulevard in the world. Although it’s not in Europe, it actually feels quite European – bits of it remind me of Paris and other bits of bits of Italy. In fact one of the districts is called Palermo Viejo, like the capital of Sicily

Speaking. Task1.

If in the foreign country in the big city I lost the passport and the money, first of all, I will address to the police officer. I will tell it that I am the citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan that lost the passport and money. I will ask it to contact the representative of our consulate in this country. The consul will help me to leave this country to Kazakhstan.

Если в зарубежной стране в большом городе я потерял свой паспорт и свои деньги, в первую очередь, я обращусь к полицейскому. Расскажу ему о том, что я гражданин Республики Казахстан, что потерял паспорт и деньги. Попрошу его связаться с представителем нашего консульства в этой стране. Консул поможет мне выехать из этой страны в Казахстан.

Task2.

Computers in our life.

1. To look through video, to work with documents, to process a photo and video files.

2. Access to any information to translate or receive money, to talk by video conference to acquaintances or to arrange a videoconference at office.

3. In everyday life, everything works at the personal computer base: banking systems, distribution networks, education, sciences and developments of technologies, medicine, industry.

Thanks to computer systems the mankind had an opportunity to automate the majority of processes and made big races forward.

The most important – is correct to pick up the personal computer. A set of the companies offer not only sale, but also provide the whole service on guarantee maintenance of the goods acquired at them.

Soon there will be new, more perfect models by means of which it will be possible to make much more operations and a role of the personal computer in our life will increase!

Компьютеры в нашей жизни.

1. Просматривать видео, работать с документами, обрабатывать фото и видеофайлы.

2. Доступа к любой информации, перевести или получить денежные средства, поговорить по видеосвязи со знакомыми или устроить видеоконференцию в офисе.

3. В повседневной жизни, все работает на базе ПК: банковские системы, торговые сети, сфера образования, науки и развития технологий, медицина, промышленность.

Благодаря компьютерным системам человечество получило возможность автоматизировать большинство процессов и сделало большой скачек вперед.

Самое главное – правильно подобрать ПК. Множество компаний предлагают не только продажу, но и предоставляют целый сервис по гарантийному обслуживанию приобретенных у них товаров.

Вскоре появятся новые, более совершенные модели, с помощью которых можно будет совершать намного больше операций и роль ПК в нашей жизни возрастет!

Task2. Translate 2^nd paragraph of the text

The living room furniture should not have sharp bends or corners. It’s desirable not have too many knick knacks of tiny decorating items. Don’t have too many metal appliances, remotes, wires all in visible area; keep them in a cabinet hidden from view. A warm fireplace, a warm rug on the floor, beautiful votive candles, a few good books and aquarium are very harmonious to any guest. Do not use too stark combinations of curtain; have warm lighting, not too bright to the eyes, few cushions in colours that synchronize with the colour of curtains.

У мебели для гостиной не должно быть острых изгибов или углов. Это желательно не имеют слишком много ловкости крошечных пунктов украшения. Не имейте слишком многих металлических приборов, пульты, провода все в видимой области; сохраняйте их в кабинете скрытыми от представления. Теплый камин, теплый коврик на полу, красивых исполненных по обету свечах, нескольких хороших книгах и аквариуме очень гармоничны любому гостю. Не используйте слишком абсолютные комбинации занавеса; имейте теплое освещение, не слишком яркое к глазам, немногим подушкам в цветах, которые синхронизируют с цветом занавесок.
