New-generation backhoe loaders

New Holland has introduced its new B-series backhoe loaders to the North American market. The five-model line includes a tool carrier and a long-reach model. They range in size from the 95-horsepower B90B with a maximum digging depth of 18-feet, 5 inches, to the 110-horsepower B115B with a 19-foot, 1-inch digging depth. New features include a curved backhoe boom for more breakout force and lower transport height, and a sloped, flip-up hood for excellent visibility and engine access.

Wear guarantee for pavers

Terex Roadbuilding has announced a Super Paver Wear Guarantee for pavers purchased in 2008. In addition to the standard 1-year, unlimited-hours guarantee on the pavers' other components, Terex has extended warranty coverage for rubber track and slat drive chains to 3 years or 3,000 hours, conveyor floor liners to 5 years or 5,000 hours, and slat bars to 10 years or 10,000 hours.

Two-lift asphalt paver

Dynapac has introduced its Compactasphalt paving system to the North American market. The system lays and compacts two lifts of asphalt simultaneously. The company says the two-lift process gets a superior bond between the wearing and binder courses, resulting in longer pavement life, higher deformation resistance, and lower maintenance costs.

Dozer gets new power

New Holland says its new 99-horwepower D95B crawler dozer has gotten an engine upgrade and maintains its best-in-class maintenance access.

In addition to easy access to regular maintenance items, the machine features a tilt-over cab/platform for access to hydraulic pumps and powertrain components.
