Данное учебно-методическое пособие адресовано студентам заочной формы обучения Московского Института телевидения и радиовещания «Останкино», содержит грамматический и лексико-текстовой блок. В пособии предложены материалы для аудиторной и самостоятельной работы студентов для получения базовой компетенции по английскому языку.

Предисловие

 

Вопрос обучения английской грамматике и лексике и приобретение студентами профессиональной компетенции в области иностранного языка

является одним из наиболее актуальных в методике преподавания

иностранных языков. Знание грамматической и лексической стороны устной и письменной речи - это необходимое условие овладения иностранным языком как средством межкультурного общения. Проблема обучения грамматике иноязычной речи на современном этапе развития теории и практики преподавания относится к области недостаточно изученной.

Предлагаемый сборник упражнений предназначен для овладения

грамматическим материалом английского языка. Особое внимание в

сборнике уделяется тренировочным упражнениям, способствующим

усвоению основных грамматических структур. Большинство предлагаемых

упражнений рекомендуется выполнять письменно. Это обеспечит более

вдумчивый и сосредоточенный анализ, разовьет грамматические навыки.

В сборнике представлены аналитические упражнения на идентификацию и

дифференциацию грамматических явлений, тренировочные - на выработку

автоматизма употребления изучаемых явлений, творческие - на

использование их в речи, контролирующие - на перевод с русского языка на английский. Упражнения в сборнике расположены по мере возрастания

трудности, что дает возможность преподавателю подбирать их в

соответствии с языковым уровнем обучающихся.

Так же в пособии предлагается текстовая подборка, которая может быть рекомендована преподавателем для студентов различного уровня языковой подготовки и в соответствии со специальностью. Некоторые тексты могут использоваться в качестве дополнительных студентами нескольких специальностей. Чтение специальных текстов повышает мотивацию студентов в изучении иностранного языка, обогащает словарный запас и дает дополнительную возможность для полноценного овладения профессиональной лексикой. На основе текстовой подборки преподаватель может варьировать формы аудиторной работы, например, студенту может быть дано задание провести презентацию специальной лексики из текста, подготовить образцовое «дикторское» чтение отрывка, подготовить краткий или развернутый диалог.

Таким образом, обильный лексический и фразеологический материал,

разнообразие грамматических упражнений и заданий, наличие необходимых

форм наглядности способствует облегчению процесса изучения

иностранного языка, повышению интереса к нему и более глубокому

усвоению.

Упражнение 3. Прочтите слова сначала сверху вниз, а потом парами по горизонтали

(по строчкам). Гласные буквы читаются по правилам. Помните, что конечные

звонкие согласные нельзя заменять глухими:

4. The boy goes to school, but the girl doesn’t.

6. Are you a student at the University or the Oil Institute?

Упражнение 2. Прочитайте с правильной интонацией и переведите на русский язык.

By chance he drops his axe into the river. Mercury, whose river it is, says: “Who are you

crying?” When Mercury brings up the man’s axe, he takes it saying that it is his. Going home,

the man meets his friend and tells him about Mercury.

1. Тема. Глагол to be (Present Simple). Личные и притяжательные

местоимения. Артикли. Указательные местоимения. Числительные 1-

100(количественные и порядковые).

Упражнение 1. Перепишите следующие предложения, вставив вместо точек глагол

to be. Следите за согласованием глагола-связки с подлежащим в лице и числе:

Упражнение 2. Вставьте вместо точек is или are и переведите устно:

Упражнение 4. Перепишите предложения, раскрыв скобки. Заключенные в скобки

личные местоимения поставьте в косвенном падеже:

Упражнение 5. Перепишите следующие предложения, вставив подходящее по смыслу притяжательное местоимение:
