ПРЕДЛОГИ ВРЕМЕНИ (PREPOSIONS OF TIME)
We use prepositions of time to say when something happens, happened or will happen. The most common ones are at, in, and on.
It’s half past twelve It’s rainy in autumn It’s snowy in winter
It’s warm in summerIt’s cool in springWe cook traditional Christmas pudding at Christmas
The Easter Bunny I get a lot of gifts on my birthday brings eggs at Easter
Exercise IX. Say each word or phrase with the correct preposition.

The Victoria Hotel The Victoria is a large and comfortable hotel in the centre of Oxford. It has 66 double rooms and 43 single rooms, all with private bathrooms. There are two restaurants, a coffee shop, a bar, and a beautiful lounge. All the bedrooms have colour television, telephones and central heating. The hotel has a lift and a car park.

MODAL VERBS Модальные глаголы используются только с основными глаголами. Они не выражают действие, а лишь отношение к действию, т.е. возможность, необходимость, просьбу, разрешение.

We use be going to:
1. to talk about our future plans and intentions. He is going to play (собирается, намеревается играть) tennis tomorrow afternoon.
2. to make predictions(прогноз, предсказание) based on what we can see. It’s going to rain. There are dark clouds in the sky. (I can see clouds).

ADJECTIVES
Для описания предметов, людей, животных мы используем прилагательные. Прилагательные стоят перед существительными и также могут стоять после глагола to be

slow +ly = slowly loud +ly = loudly simple +ly= simply angry+ ly =angrily careful + ly= carefully Remember!!!
Наречия описывают глаголы и стоят обычно после глагола.
He walks slowly. She speaks loudly. They usually get up at seven o’clock.
They look happy. The flowers smell nice. These cakes taste delicious.
