9. Mrs Adams to her husband: “You look so happy. Have you won in a lottery?”

10. Ann to her sister: “I know you have a newcomer in your group. What is his name?”

 

b) Example: How long have you been studying Spanish? Your accent is good.

Peter asked Mary how long she had been studying Spanish and added that her

Accent was good.

c) Example: Where do you live? Do you get to work by bys?

Barbara asked Kate where she lived and if she got to the work by bus.

4. Jack to his sister: “When will you be free? Will you be able to help me with my maths?”

5. Helen to Jill: “Where did you rest? Did you enjoy your holiday?”

6. Kate to Sam: “When are you having your finals? Are you ready for them?”

7. Mike to Susan: “What are you doing on Sunday? Will you go sunbathing?”

8. Tony to his sister: “Why did you switch on the computer? Are you going to play?”
