Safety Precautions

· Don’t touch hot surfaces of the appliance. Don’t keep your hands over the spout while boiling.

· Don’t immerse the cord, the plug or the kettle in water to prevent fire, electrical shook or injury.

· Don’t leave the kettle unattended when it is used near
children.

· Unplug the kettle from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow hot surface to cool down.

· Don’t use the kettle with a damaged cord or outlet and the kettle works improperly. Never dismantle the kettle.

· Don’t use it outdoors.

· Don’t let the cord hang over edge of table or touch hot surface.

· Don’t place the kettle on or near a hot gas or electric burner.

· Boil such amount of water that you need.

· Before using the kettle close the lid properly. Otherwise the kettle won’t switch off automatically and splash out boiled water.

· Don’t open the lid while boiling.

· Pour out boiled water slowly and carefully, trying not to bend the kettle fast.

· Place the kettle on stable plain surface.

· Avoid contact with steam from the spout while the water is boiling or after switching off.

· Don’t overfill the Max level of water.

 

Note! If the kettle is overfilled, boiled water can be splashed out.

2. Electric kettle is intended only for boiling drinking water. Don’t fill it with another liquid.

3. Don’t hold the on/off switch in position “off”, as it may cause the damage of the automatic cut-off device.

4. Don’t use abrasive cleaners to clean the kettle.

5. Hold the kettle with hot water carefully.

 

Note! Don’t place the base on the metal tray or another metal surface while using the appliance.

 

First time using

· Read the instruction carefully.

· Before using the appliance for the first time wash the kettle with running water and fill it up to Max. level.

· Shut the lid and replace the kettle on the base. Plug the cord into the earthed outlet (220-240 V) and push the on/off switch. The power indicator goes on.

· Let the kettle switch off automatically.

· Empty the kettle.

· Unplug the cord and let the appliance to fully cool down.

· Now the kettle is ready to use.

 

Using the Appliance

1. Fill the kettle by opening the lid.

2. Make sure the water level stays between the min and the max marks of the water tank.

3. Close the lid. Don’t use the kettle with the lid in open position and without the removable filter.

4. Place the kettle on the wireless base.

5. Plug the cord into the outlet and push the on/off switch.

6. The moment the water has boiled the device automatically shut itself off.

7. If the kettle is lifted from the base during the boiling process, it switches off automatically.

8. To remove the kettle from the base grasp the handle and take it without bowing.

9. Take extra care if the kettle is overfilled.

10. Before using for the first time empty the kettle and fill it with water.

11. If you wish to boil the water again, switch the kettle on. If the kettle has just switched off, wait for a minute before new boiling.

12. In both cases, when the water level is low or the kettle is switched on without water, the automatic cut-off device will switch it off. Wait for several minutes, allow the heating element to cool completely and fill it with water.

13. Use the appliance only with the supplied base. Don’t fill the kettle with water when it is placed on the base.

14. The power indicator goes on when the kettle is ready to use.

Cleaning and Care

The kettle is equipped with the heating element in the base. Do descaling regularly. The frequency depends on the hardness of your tap water and how many times you have used the kettle. Too much scale inside may cause the kettle not to work or the heating element to be damaged. Follow the instructions below.

 

Descale the kettle using only specially designed cleaning agents. Citric acid (in granules) can also be used for cleaning, buy it in the chemist’s shop.

- Fill the kettle with water on 3/4, boil it, replace from the base and put in the sink or empty plate.

- Mix 50 g of citric acid with water and leave to soak. DON’T USE MORE CONCENTRATED SOLUTION.

- When the vigorous-bubble formation stops, empty the kettle and rinse it with cold water.

- Wipe outside with soft damp cloth to remove the acid, which may cause the damage of the surface.

- Before using the kettle make sure all electric details are dry.

 

Not regular descaling can annul the warranty.

 

To prevent incrustation follow the instructions bellow:

1.empty the kettle after use;

2.don’t store the full kettle during night;

3.use only filtered water;

Don’t clean the kettle with scouring cleanser or another chemical solvent, as it may cause spotting the surface.

Don’t immerse the appliance, cap, power cord and plug in water or any other liquids.

Warranty

According to trade regulations the consumer has the right on product warranty.

Conditions of the Warranty:

1.The warranty applies at the proper use of the appliance.

2.The appliance can’t be modified by the consumer.

3.Plugging into a socket must be accomplished according to the instructions of the appliance rating plate.
