SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR YOUR IRON

· Check the mains voltage stated on the iron.

· Unwind and straighten the power cord before use.

· Switch on the iron by turning the temperature dial in clockwise direction; pilot light glows.

1. Turn the temperature dial to the middle point of select '•'
(1 dot),'••' (2 dots) or '•••' (3 dots) position.

· Switch off the iron by turning the temperature dial in anti-clockwise direction when it is not in use, even for a short period of time.

· Turn the temperature dial to "Min" position.

· Disconnect the iron from mains supply outlet when filling water.

· Remove the water remained in the water tank.

· Use the self-cleaning function at least once a month.

· Clean the steam valve regularly.

 

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

FOR ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

 

· Read carefully, save all the instructions provided with an appliance.  

· Do not allow children touch the iron or the power cord when ironing.

· Do not use an extension power cord set unless competent authority has approved it.

· Do not leave the iron unattended when it is connected to a mains supply outlet.

· Do not add perfumed, vinegar or other chemical liquids into the water tank, they can damage the iron seriously.

· Do not use the iron when it is damaged or it works improperly.

· Do not roll the power cord around the iron for storage until it has cooled down completely.

· Do not attempt to open the cabinets or dismantle any parts from the iron; there is no serviceable part inside.

· Do not attempt to replace the power cord or any other parts by yourself; bring the iron to a service company or to the shop where you bought it. Special tools are required for repair.

· Do not immerse in water.

 

HINTS FOR IRONING

1. Sort out the articles to be ironed according to the type of fabric. This will minimize the frequency of temperature adjustment for different garments.

2. Test ironing a small area on the backside or inside the garment if you are unsure about the type of fabric. Start with a low temperature and increase gradually.

3. Wait for about three minutes before ironing heat sensitive fabrics. Temperature adjustment needs certain time to reach the - required level no matter it is higher or lower.

4. Delicate fabrics such as silk, wool, velour, etc. are best ironed with an ironing cloth to prevent shine marks.

 

FIRST TIME IRONING

1. Remove any protective films or stickers from the sole plate and the cabinet.

2. Unwind and straighten the power cord.

3 Connect the iron to a suitable mains supply outlet.

4. Turn the Temperature Dial in clockwise direction to maximum position; pilot light glows.

5. Pilot light goes off when the required temperature is reached.

6. Iron a damped towel removing any protective chemical left on the sole plate. After a few minutes the iron is ready for proper use.

 

DRY IRONING

1. Connect the iron to a suitable mains supply outlet.

2. Turn the Temperature Dial in clockwise direction; select '•'
(1 dot),'••' (2 dots) or '•••' (3 dots) according to the recommendation of garment label.

3. Pilot light glows indicating the iron is switched on. 

4. When the required temperature is reached; pilot light goes off. The iron is ready for use.

5. Turn Temperature Dial in anti-clockwise direction to 'Min'; the iron is switched off.

· Disconnect the iron from mains supply outlet.

· When the iron gets cool completely, store it vertically in a safe place.

 

HOW TO FILL WATER

· Disconnect the iron from mains supply outlet.

· Release the spray assembly.

· Fill water through the inlet.

· Fill up to "Max" level of the water tank.

Note: Do not use any other liquids for refilling.

 

SPRAYING

This function can be used any time and is not affect any setting.

· Fill the water tank as described in How to fill water.

· Aim the nozzle to the garment.

· Press the spray button.

Note: It may be necessary to press the spray button a few times to start this function.

 

CLEANING THE IRON

· Disconnect the iron from the mains supply outlet.

· Use damp cloth or non-scratching cleaner to remove any deposits on the sole plate.

· Never use sharp or rough objects to remove the deposits on the sole plate.

· Never use any abrasive, vinegar or descaling agents to clean the iron.

Убедитесь, что утюг отключен от сети.  18. Вы можете налить воду в емкость, если утюг еще не остыл. 19. Не используйте никакие другие жидкости, кроме воды. 20. Обратите внимание на то, что иногда необходимо нажать кнопку несколько раз. 21. При этом в емкости должна находиться вода. 22. Перед чисткой отключите утюг от сети и дайте ему остыть. 23. Протрите поверхность утюга влажной тканью, используя жидкое чистящее средство. 24. Не используйте острые метал-лические предметы для чистки подошвы утюга. 25. Для чистки утюга не используйте уксус и абразивные вещества.
